Now grown-up and experienced in battle, many of the original cast of the New Mutants have teamed-up to form a new team of X-Men.The line-up strongly resembles the original roster of the New Mutants, except for Wolfsbane who is a member of the secretive wetworks team, X-Force. The other original members including de-powered Dani Moonstar, Karma, Sunspot, Magma and the recently resurrected Illyana Rasputin follow orders from Cannonball. They were first brought together when Dani Moonstar & Karma were investigating the possible appearance of a new mutant, after the events of M-Day. However, their investigations uncovered the return of Legion. Although still no-longer a mutant Dani Moonstar has regained her Valkyrie abilities, and their alien friend Warlock has returned from outer space. The team recently encountered their last member; Cypher who was raised from the dead by the the transmode-virus.Additional VolumesNew Mutants Vol. 1 (1983)New Mutants Vol. 2 (2003)New Mutants Vol. 3 (2009)New Mutants Vol. 4 (2020)New Mutants: Lethal Legion (2023)Collected Editions Return of Legion (#1-5)New Mutants by Zeb Wells: The Complete Collection (#1-11 & 15-21) Necrosha (#6-11)X-Men Milestones: Necrosha (#6-8)Thor by Kieron Gillen Ultimate Collection (#11) Second Coming (#12-14)X-Men Milestones: Second Coming (#12-14) Fall of the New Mutants (#15-21) X-Men: Age of X (#22-24)X-Men Milestones: Age of X (#22-24) Unfinished Business (#25-28) Fear Itself: Wolverine/New Mutants (#29-32)New Mutants by Abnett & Lanning: The Complete Collection Volume 1 (#25-37) A Date With The Devil (#33-37)Mephisto: Speak of the Devil (#37) De-Animator (#38-41)New Mutants by Abnett & Lanning: The Complete Collection Volume 2 (#38-50) Journey Into Mystery/New Mutants: Exiled (#42-44 and Journey into Mystery #637-638)Loki: Journey Into Mystery by Kieron Gillen Omnibus (#42-43) Fight the Future ( #44-50)Non-U.S. Collected EditionsMarvel Deluxe.
